O rings :- We, Sam Engineers are one of the leading manufacturer, exporters of vide variety & extensive range of o rings. O rings manufactured at Sam Engineers confirms to almost all the International Standards. O rings to ANSI Standard,O rings to SAE Standard,O rings to ASTM Standard, O rings to DIN Standard,O rings to ISO Standard,O rings to MS Standard, O rings to NAS Standard,O rings to AS Standard,O rings to AS568, O rings to Metric Standard,O rings to MIL Spec O rings. O rings range :
- Inside Diameter from 1/32" (0.794 mm) to 26" (66.04 cm)
- Outside Diameter from 3/32" (2.38 mm) to 26-1/2" (67.31 cm)
- Cross Section from 1/32" (0.794 mm) to 1/4" (6.35 mm)
In addition to above mentioned standards, Sam Engineers also carries a wide variety of non-standard sizes. O rings Elastomer & Properties:- Nitrile/NBR Orings: Nitrile (Buna-N) is one of the videly used O ring Elastomer. Nitrile / NBR O rings operating temp:-40 deg F to 257 deg.F. Nitrile / NBR O rings are petroleum products resistant. Ethylene-Propylene / EPDM O rings: epdm O rings operating temp.: -40 deg F to +275 deg. F epdm O rings are resistant to heat, water and steam, alkali, mild acidic and oxygenated solvents, ozone, and sunlight. epdm. O rings not recommended for gasoline, petroleum oil and grease, and hydrocarbon environments. Viton ® / FKM O rings : Viton O rings operating temp. -13 deg F to +446 deg.F. Viton O rings exhibits exceptional resistance to chemicals, oils, temperature extremes , low compression set, low gas permeability and excellent aging characteristics. Viton O rings uses: Aircraft engines, automotive fuel handling systems, and chemical processing industries, high vaccum applications. Virton / FKM O rigns recommended for exposure to ketones, alkalis, and SkydrolÃâî fluids. Silicone / VMQ O rings : Silicone O rings manufactured from high grade of SIlicone / VMQ are used as static seals in extreme temperature conditions. Silicone O rings handle operating temperatures -85 deg.F to +400 deg.F. Silicone O rings are popular in food and medical applications. Neoprene / CR O rings: Neoprene O rings operates at -40 deg.. F to +250 deg.F. Neoprene O rings features good resistance to petroleum oils, ozone, sunlight and oxygen aging, relatively low compression set, good resilience and outstanding physical toughness. Neoprene O rings are the preferred for the refrigeration industry because of its resistance to ammonia and FreonÃâî. Fluorosilicone / FVMQ O rings : O rings manufactured from Fluorosilicone (-75 deg.F to +400 deg.F) exhibits good high and low temperature stability of silicones with the fuel, oil, and solvent resistance of fluorocarbons. FVMQ O rings are unparalleled for aerospace fuel systems, auto fuel emission control systems and to meet or exceed government, military, aerospace, automotive, industrial and commercial specifications. However, due to relatively low tear strength, high friction and limited abrasion resistance of these materials, FVMQ O rings are generally not used in dynamic applications. FVMQ O rings are also not recommended for exposure to brake fluids, hydrazine, or ketones. O rings elastomer & hardness available : O rings in Silicon 20 to 85 shore, O rings in Nitrile 40 to 90 shore, O rings in EPDM 40 to 90 shore, O rings in FKM 60 to 90 shore, O rings in Neoprene 40 to 85 shore , O rings in Flurosilicon 50 to 80 shore, O rings in SBR 50 to 80 shore, O rings in Urethane 50 to 90 shore, O rings in X-NBR 50 to 80 shore, O rings in HNBR 50 to 90 shore.
